What's your favourite sandwich?

Post by Mick F »

I'm sitting here scoffing a wonderful butty. Sticky fingers on the keyboard.

Thickly-cut wholemeal bread, ham salad with a layer of Phily. Yum.

Tuna Spesh': tuna, chopped cucumba & onion mixed with a little mayo and chili and with sweetcorn on nice tastey grannary bread. Tastes great and is good for you too.

My favourite sandwich is the one that someone buys for me or just provides me with!

Happy with either of the ones suggested so far.

Chips and pickled onions. I'm so classy.

Failing that, hummus, tomato, black olives and avocado.

For eating out on the wheels (works as bonk rations) any of the "Cauldron" veggi pates (buy from Sainsbury's) and sliced beetroot.

For a home-based luxury, blue Shropshire cheese, pickled walnuts and cranberry jelly.

Both on Marks & Spencer's mediun sliced wholemeal bread and "buttered" with Olivio margarine. Both sometimes with a bit of very thinly sliced raw red onion - not too much - don't want the flavour of the onion to take over.

Ho for the pantry.......................

Peanut butter, mature cheddar, coleslaw, lettuce and cold baked beans. Between two doorsteps of granary bread. Yum!
