I can find the time ok, it's just that the time is required for other things too.

I don't cycle to live, or live to cycle.
Instead, I live, and cycle as well.

Day 103 today, and done 9.8 miles per day.
This time last year, I'd done (only) 9.1 miles per day ................. so I'm improving! :D

1,824 as of yesterday - so halfway near enough by mid April - and commuted in today so that's not added yet. The mild winter has helped, did more commuting in Jan and Feb than usual. Now of course I'm eyeing a potential 6,000 so the target only gets harder!

Same here.

I enjoy cycling alone - that's half the fun. I just decide where I want to go (and I might change this on route), when I want to stop, even only to look at something or find a new path, what hills I want to go up (or not), what I want to explore or see etc as well as going as fast or slow as I want. By many people's standards on this forum I don't travel that far either 10-30 miles is fine maybe 40, as well as a few short ones where it's far quicker than walking or by car! I might look at an OS and decide on a route. I imagine it's much harder if you live in a big city.

I don't peddle bikes.

Haven't ridden the bike on the road for two weeks now (illness & other complications). That's gotta bring down the average...

Poor you.
Get well soon.

My 2014 average is way down, but tomorrow I'm off Up North with three 90mile days back to back. I'll be doing over 800miles in a fortnight, so my average will end WAY up. :D
