I'm looking at a ride from Seaton to Winchester - approx 100 miles, hopefully in a day.
Out of Seaton, NE towards Salisbury along mostly lanes & B roads - passing S of Yeovil, Shaftesbury.
Then after Salisbury, approx ESE to Winchester. Anybody ridden something similar? Stealth camping options if it turns into a 2 day gig?

Re: Route from Devon to Hants
Two days from Horsham, but I think Seaton to Winchester in a day is definitely do-able. My route between Winchester and Salisbury wasn't brilliant, if I were to do it again I'd follow NCN24 rather than cycling along the ridge to the north.

Glad to hear Seaton - Winchester is a day ride (long one, though).
Yes, your Winchester - Salisbury took the car-friendly and busy N route. The last 5 miles into Salisbury along the A30 must have been entertaining...
Best, is SW out of Winchester > Braishfield > Mottisfont > East Grimstead > Salisbury. That's the route I'll take, in the opposite direction.
