With 3 months to go, wondering how folks are getting on in 2015?

Managed 9008 miles in 2014 without trying or keeping tabs, plus chose to become carless and a non moton. So this year thought I'd see if I could do the 10k. Miles to date exceed last year's total - 9240 miles as of today :)

The magic 10k looks on, barring accidents and illness etc.

844 miles riding - 1948 Percy Stallard 'Montlhéry'
3257 miles riding - 1987 Raleigh 'Avanti' (531 ex mountain bike, much customised)
1320 miles riding - 1990 Raleigh 'Blueridge' (531 ex mountain bike, now back on minor off road duties)
3819 miles riding - 1992 George Longstaff 'touring' bike

And still cycling in shorts on October 3rd! In Wales

All miles alone/transport/fun apart from occasional Thursday CTC short rides, and all in beautiful Gogledd/Eryri/Snowdonia :D

How's everyone else doing?

I will probably not be able to do 10000 miles in a year until I retire. But I had a lovely bike ride today.

I'm currently at 7914, bit down on last year but a bit up on 2013. On course for 10k again barring mishap but quite a bit behind deliquum.
About 7000 of that is on my Roberts Audax with the rest split between a 1980s Flying Scot and a 90s 'Why?Bike' 26" wheel tourer. Oh, and the vast majority of it is on the Isle of Wight!

Low this year.
I spent much of Feb and Mar doing other stuff - hedges and trees with a chainsaw, and next Feb and Mar will see me doing the same.

1,978miles so far this year.

This time last year, I'd done 3,916miles

I've done 60.8 miles so far this year, but I didn't start until 21 days ago.

I've managed 5148 miles this year so far, my lowest for at least 20 years.

But for the first time in my life I can't commute by bike as 32 miles each way is just too far.

5968 miles on the tandem so far this year with a record 900 miles last month. Since Mrs RJB retired to join me my solo mileage has dropped off to appprox 500 miles so far this year. However when i ride the tandem its twice as hard so should i be claiming over 10k so far ( don't shout in case swmbo hears you )
At the last count:- Peugeot 531 pro, Dawes Discovery Tandem, Dawes Kingpin X3, Raleigh 20 stowaway, 1965 Moulton deluxe, Falcon K2 MTB dropped bar tourer, Rudge Bi frame folder, Longstaff trike conversion on a Giant XTC 840 :D

I've recently stopped counting miles at all.

It's kind of nice actually, just follow the legs.
A shortcut has to be a challenge, otherwise it would just be the way. No situation is so dire that panic cannot make it worse.
There are two kinds of people in this world: those can extrapolate from incomplete data.

Hi,
I am not so worried about milage.

When I can hold top gear on the flat on my training course (18 - 22 mph) I am happy, which is now and taken all year to get there 3k so far.

As I started this thread last year I suppose I should comment. No where near this year. Illness and change in work has meant that I've done about 4.5K so far this year
