That's a great idea.
A chap on some group ride passing through the village was changing/repairing a tube when OH passed coming back from the allotment. He was pretty pleased, not to say surprised, to be offered the use of a high-pressure pump. :mrgreen:

Excellent idea. Haven't come across one on my travels yet, but I'll be keeping my eyes peeled.

One in Kingston nr the Bridge. BUT I remember only one tube fitting? not schraeder or was it not presta, certainly not both.

And of course Dunlop and Woods valves don't exist?

"both common types" would have been a reasonable phrase...
A shortcut has to be a challenge, otherwise it would just be the way. No situation is so dire that panic cannot make it worse.
