The Fairy has the last laugh

Post by Si »

Consulting my end of term records....I notice that I've gone through the whole of the last bikeability year without having to fix a p*nct*re for any trainees....until yesterday, the final lesson before the next bikeability year starts in September. Girl managed to get a 2 inch screw right through the tyre! The P*nct*re Fairy will always have the last word

I use Schwalbe CX Pros on my steel Genesis Croix de Fer. Never had a puncture and deliberately ride over fairies and nails. Come ahead.

I think all cyclists should stand up, or maybe sit on our saddles, and demand the fairy is banished forever. Oh yes...are you with me brothers and sisters

Yes, its never wise to take her for granted...

I hadn't had a visit for ages until a Sunday a few weeks back. I'd been thinking about replacing the tyres for a while so this seemed a good opportunity.

Following weekend I'm out on brand new tyres when I also went over a huge nail. She arrived very promptly - my tyre must have gone down like a balloon.
