Ok Which Viaduct, and name the loco
Percussive maintainance, if it don't fit, hit it with the hammer.
Re: Name the landmark
Henry the Green Engine pulling the Flying Kipper on Sodor Bay viaduct?

The viaduct looks like the main line through Stockport. Not sure about the loco - immediate reaction is large green engine = Flying Scotsman but I've not convinced myself that it actually is as the nameplate is usually (always?) on the middle wheel arch & this one appears to have its name on the side of the boiler.
Rick.
Edited to add: my next guess on the loco is the Duchess of Sutherland

Rick,.
Stockport viaduct, correct the loco definitely not the Flying Scotsman, your observation about the nameplate over the centre driving wheel would be correct for that loco, a clue this one is from the LMS

If you look at the link the photo was taken from the top of the building that the "Balloon" marker is covering

Ah well in that case it must be a Duchess class, no? And the Duchess of Sutherland appears to be wearing green this season…

<Geek> Duchesses were of the Coronation Class</Geek>
And if they've repainted DoS in BR green then I'm going to have to give someone a slap.
Re: Name the landmark
No photograph, but can anyone identify this historic landmark pub by the behaviour of the unforgettable lady (well, female) publican, who referred to Mrs. M. and me in a loud and matey voice, as "the two old mother….ers on the tandem"?
If no takers, I'll try to post a photograph (of the building) tomorrow.

From the link I posted in my earlier edit
Wikipedia wrote:On 3 March 2012, now renumbered 46233 was rolled out in "authentic (Brunswick) green" livery, as used by British Railways during the early 1950s, at the Midland Railway - Butterley following her major overhaul.[1][2]
It is planned for her to remain in her BR Green livery till the end of 2014 when she will be repainted into her more recognized livery of LMS Crimson Lake for her 2015 mainline season.
You'd better be going to find the person you need to slap!
