You may not want to unlock your potential with Strava but you will want to lock your bike! Reports that thieves are using social media shared ride mapping to target high end bikes.

a) if your social media ride app allows it - many don't
b) if you know and remember to switch it on - how many do?

I think that's why the problem arrives. As far as I know you can't do it from an app. You have to be using a web browser to access all your settings.

I've alerted some people I follow, as you can even see where the bike shed is in relation to the house. They've done diddley squat about it though.
