An interesting article in the link below. I use this route twice daily on my bike to do the school run and concur with the author's observations. I access this new road from Haydon (Church St) and travel past the LBS onto the Greenway to Welton. Although it is safer than running the double roundabouts it is simply a mess from Victoria Hall to the LBS. a dreadful shame and embarrassment for cyclists coming from Frome/Bath or vice versa on the wonderful NCN24. A wasted opportunity and indicative that our powers that be have no interest in launching Britain into the modern cycling age
