Another thing to consider is consolidating the fittings on your bike to a standard size, as far as possible. In the past I seem to remember getting down to just 4mm bolt heads for everything except cranks & pedals...


You could maybe get/buy one Ti allen key, Say a 6mm. then use a socket adaptor to attach the bits.

Would love to do that - change all the bolts so they use the same tool, but haven't really found a way to do it. Do you mean 4mm allen key, or 4mm hex.

I have a possibly irrational hatred for hex nuts (especially) and bolts :evil: so try to avoid them, but maybe I need to reconsider this.

I'm the same, Allen keys all the way...

I was thinking more of tempting you into doing, afraid I don't really have the set up
