is it possible to fit cleats to wellies?! if so which are best - cleats and wellies both.

many years ago I found a picture of a farmer's son, ankle deep in 'farm produce', proudly smiling the smile of a lad who had made his life immeasurably better, and who knew in his heart of hearts that his work would inspire others. His contribution; the World's first SPD wellie-boot.

That picture is sadly lost now;

but these will allow SPD cleats to be fitted to many different shoes...

Nice! although I wouldn't want to experience the couple of times when you forget to unclip on a farm, although I guess it would be a soft landing!
