24" x 28mm tyres

Post by landsurfer »

Would like some 24" x 28mm or even 25mm for grandsons bike. Not having any luck. Any one know of a source. Airnimal owners must know where to get decent tyres.

I would call four different size of tyre 24". 541, 540, 520 & 507.

I hope it isnt the 600A that I have on my kid's bikes.

but if it is SJS do have them still

Hi,

Be precise about the rim size you want, 507, 520 or 540/541.
(As 540/541/600A are essentially the same rim size.)

This is the MTB version of rims for a 24" tyre

This is obcure high performance road wheels - Airnimal, Terry front
Any tyres you find will not be cheap generally.

Basically based on UK wheelchair 24" rims

This is the French version of the above size, but skinnier

I suspect the last link is the one you need, 28mm road tyres.

rgds, sreten.

p.s. to get the links to work you need to add the url tags manually
