Good afternoon.. I wonder if anyone knows the make of these levers & if replacement rubber hoods are available for these? I've taken them off a George Longstaff 531 tourer, which I'm lead to believe is over 20 yrs old.. I would be very interested in buying some covers off members, if they've got a pair, they no longer require. On each lever it says Corsa, so I'm thinking they're possibly Campagnola levers.
Kind Regards..

Just found these.. Would they fit my levers? Cant say I'm impressed with the price, but know I'm probably limited for choices.

I'd say they are most likely CLB or possibly Galli. In either case you are very unlikely to find original hoods and would just have to try various ones until you found some to fit. That is what I did with some old CLB levers many years ago.

Thanks tatanab.. I think that's what I'll have to do.. Keep looking around and try to find something that fits..

The brand that slipped my memory --- Modolo Sporting http://www.velobase.com/ViewComponent.a ... AbsPos=158

They look like 'Modolo Corsa' to me

IIRC lever hoods for Weinmann Carrera, Campagnolo NR/GS, shimano BL-6208, Dura-Ace BL-7400 (non aero), Dia Compe (Gran Compe), other modolo may fit OK.

Re: Anybody know, what make these levers are??
these
http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/dia-compe-204-202-non-aero-drop-lever-hoods-prod26453/
might well fit but perhaps only perfectly after a little fettling; I think the opening for the lever comes down too low. A little work with a dremel tool will probably sort it out. Mind you the overhang at the front may disappear or just not cause any real problems.
these levers
look like this with the hoods fitted
which is a pretty good fit really.

Re: Anybody know, what make these levers are??
http://www.campyoldy.co.uk/stocklist.htm It is possible that the 919 lever hoods fit -- they fit the Speedy -- you will find them under "other manufacturers". Mr Scott will advise.
Re: Anybody know, what make these levers are??
Thanks everyone... Brucey, they are indeed modolo corsa levers.. Just had a good read at the site you ripped that image off & very interesting reading.. I may go for the Dia Compe hoods, if I cant find anything at the Longridge Cycle jumble, next month. Great link 123malford btw.. Some serious quality stuff on campyoldy. Thank's again, everyone's input was appreciated..And yes I know I put a "A" at the end of Campagnolo in my original post..sigh!!
