Has anyone tried one of these?
They look very neat and tidy.

I don't want a normal mirror really (it wouldn't look good, or even fit very well on my machine) but today I was cycling to the big city, and could've used the ability to actually know that there was traffic on my tail.
A mirror, IMHO cannot take the place of a good look. But a small, neat one could at least give me an indication. I don't know about anyone else, but if I turn to look back, I go a little off course. A small mirror might obviate the need to look to confirm the presence of traffic.

I have a B&M bar end mirror that gives a good view;

I've since seen this one wich is like the one you link to, just a touch bigger and looks to be a better fitting.

Thanks for advice, guys, but none of the suggestions come anywhere the neatness and clean lines of what I want. (or think I want)
I don't want to SEE behind me, I just want an indication that there's something there. It has to fit in the bar-end of my drops and it has to be small and unobtrusive or I won't bother.

Yeah Mick F I have these mirrors on both my bikes a Hewitt Chevoit and a Dawes Galaxy on Morphe drop handlebars and I wouldnt be without them now now.
They are a bit trickey to install first time around but a lot easier after that.
Perfect for a quick glance to see whats coming behind and there is no vibration so you get a clear picture of whats behind
