Wife's Christmas pressi...thinking of buying her 3/4 length cycling longs with chamois inserts. Any ideas or suggestions re source...good sets ..bad sets etc Ta Nik

I think you pay for what you get with cycling clothing.

You get your top quality European companies that make all their own stuff in their own factories, like Assos, Etxe Ondo and Sportful, and then you get a wide spectrum of other kit down to the budget Far East made stuff that lots of people find perfectly adequate.

Corrine Dennis specialise in ladies clothing and are a good place to start. If not look at Gore cycle wear or Endura.

My wife uses Altura Pro Gel shorts and longs but also has a couple of pairs of Pearl Izumi shorts, which she prefers but they are hard to get hold of. Also has one pair of DHB 3/4 longs from Wiggle.

I love my Assos shorts, tights and and 3/4's but ive not paid retail for any of them
