Very cheap recumbent bags.

Post by BlackPanther »

Maybe this had been mentioned before? Hamster bags £25 for a pair. They should only require minimal fettling to fit on a recumbent (especially mesh) seat. Not sure if there'd be enough clearance for trikes though? Anyone tried these?

These look very similar to the ICE throw-over bags, in size and shape. So, they should be suitable for trikes. Of course, the advert can't really show the quality of material, zip and construction. And, I'd guess you'd have to create some sort of mounting system (the ICE system is simplicity itself and works well for me).

I'll certainly bear these in mind for the future.

Interesting find, I was looking into options for some cheap bags for the bent. Closest I've come so far was dry bags that are meant normally for marine use. Only downside is they open at the ends rather than along the length.
