I've got Brooks on both my bikes , I wouldn't describe them as armchair comfortable but they're better than anything else I've tried, at least they don't feel like

someones trying bash the base of your spine like my previous plastic saddles did and they are a nice tactile object right enough.

I had a Brooks Colt on, tried about 5 or 6 different saddles, ended up putting the Brooks back on. I can't imagine not using it, after all that.
