Anyone been through this airport with a bike, wondering what the access roads are like, mainly to/from the south of the airport?
Is the main road a 'motorway' or can you cycle on it for the couple of miles to get to minor roads?

It's been a while but I seem to remember that there is a small road which leads from the rear of the Airport and takes you to other minor roads.
Yes, the D29 would appear to get you out of there and on to the road network.

This may help even more.

Re: Lyon St Exupery airport
I've ridden to there from the SE (Grenoble) and don't remember it being too bad.
I've just used the link below to plot a route from the airport to Diemoz (about 20 km South) and other than about 300m on the D29 at the airport entrance the route all looked like minor roads.
