Palace of Versailles

We would like to visit Versailles Gardens on our route from Paris back to Cherbourg. Does anyone know if it is permitted to ride your own bikes throughout the Gardens or, if not, is there any safe storage for bikes at the entrances?

Yes you can ride your bike in most of the gardens
