Open Source Maps with cycle routes

Post by climo »

I'm trying to find a Garmin img file of Open Source Maps with cycle maps (NCN, National Byway, etc) city cycle routes and contours.
I've tried https://sites.google.com/site/openstree ... incycleuk/ but that doesn't have contours.
I believe that the TalkyToaster one doesn't have cycle routes on it.
There's a wiki how to make one from the available constituent parts but I'm not sure I understand it.

Someone somewhere must have made one.

OpenFietsMap is my favourite - it has cycle routes and contours and is very clear to read. You can download an image map for GB and Ireland here.

These are just brilliant. Highly detailed and offline use. Even on an android phone offline.
I downloaded the Europe map (8.5gb) as well and can plot a route in Garmin RoadTrip on Mac then transfer to my Garmin gps
