I'd go to Dent.
1 largish site in the village, and a couple on farms (cheaper and more basic) 5 - 10 minutes walk outside the village. See ukcampsite for details.
There are 2 pubs in the village - the Sun and the George and Dragon (probably the better, being the Dent brewery tap).

Check out camping and caravanning club because they have a searchable map showing campsites. Type Sedburgh, unit type (tent, caravan, etc) and how close to location to get the campsites flagged up. I know there are at least 2 near Sedburgh and more near Kirby Lonsdale. We've been looking at sites in the Dales but these are too close to home to make them worth it for us.
