Hook of Holland - Europort ferry

Post by foxyrider »

Has anyone got experience of arriving at Rotterdam Europort and using the fast ferry to reach Hook of Holland? Is it easy to get to? which stop did you use?
Convention? what's that then?

Hi,

Have you sailed to Europort and found this out yet?

We sail on Saturday and I am just trying to figure out the passenger ferry to Hook from the main port?

Thanks in advance

Hi
We sail on Sunday night and it will be our first time cycling in Holland.
according to Eric van der Horst's guide book the ferry between Maasvlakte and Hook is operated by RET http://www.ret.nl it runs daily Mon-Fri every 30 mins until 8pm and weekends every hour until 7pm. The guide suggests it will take an hour to pedal there from the Hull ferry.

Edit --
just looked on ret and the ferry goes at 25 past the hour on a Sunday.

We thought about taking that route but in the end have decided to cycle via Brielle, Rozenburg and Schiedam to get to Rotterdam.

Enjoy your trip.
