Not sure if this is the right section for this post, but here goes anyway..
Found this bike on Gumtree but when I called it had been sold. It's an old Dahon steel 26" wheel folding bike. I want a bike like this for mixed-mode travel. Anybody know where I can get one? Ta

Dahon have been doing 26 folding bikes for a while. I remember one being reviewed in the Cycle Mag a while ago.
Here is the Dahon website, there is a store finder option. This would be a new bike, can't help with pre loved ones! http://dahon.com/mainnav/foldingbikes/a ... bikes.html

To find something just like you show, you'll probably have to look on a second hand site as the Dahon range no longer seems to have anything quite like that. They still do a couple of full size wheel folding bikes, but one is a one-speed and the other, Cadenza, is really an urban commuter, though maybe it would do you. They do have some higher spec bikes in smaller wheel sizes, including 24", which isn't so very small.

I've had a Cadenza before. As you say it's more of an urban commuter. The bike in the pics has a steel frame and that's the appeal. Never seen a 26" wheel steel folding Dahon before.
I know there's a Rudge/Montague steel folder, but I think they look a tad clumsey.
