Hi!
I'm thinking of a bit of a tour in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, between Berlin and the Baltic. Lots of lovely looking cycle routes here:

but I am a little concerned because I have found in the past that German off-road cycle paths (marked as such on OpenCycleMap-- i.e. with a blue dashed line in the default rendering), especially those through forests, can be surfaced with quite rough gravel.
Has anyone been on D11 or D12 or on any of the other routes around that area who can advise about the sort of surface I can expect? Many thanks for any help.
D11 and D12 in Northern Germany
