Touring Costa Rica on 6 USD per day

Hey guys!

Many people used to tell me how expensive touring in Costa Rica was, that I should cross the country fast if I didn't want to break the bank cycling around this country. While I agree with that Costa Rica is probably one of the most expensive destinations to travel on a bicycle in the Americas, I also think it's very possible to do it on the cheap. My girlfriend and I just spent about 3 weeks in the country and our expenses were 6 USD per day, per person.
