Hi everybody
Having just returned to the UK having been deployed for the last 5 months I intend to ride one of the Coast-to-Coast routes with my Daughter at the end of next week.
We have three days available for the ride and intend to camp, my daughter is 14 and is no stranger to loaded touring or to long days on the bike though this will be her first winter tour.
What I’m unsure of is which route to use, Reivers, Hadrian’s, or C2C.
I’m thinking that Hadrian’s might be the best route for winter trip, starting at Workington and finishing in Newcastle (home). I’m also wondering which bike would suit the route best, my daughter wants to us to ride the recumbents, her on an ICE trike me on my Challenge Seiran. What’s the route like for barriers, obstacles an off road sections? Would we be better off on uprights?
Which C2C in winter
