Alas, too late to merge. The result would be even more garbled than the individual topics !

Breaking news: Final three Top Gear episodes salvaged and currently being edited for transmission.

Another tawdry 'cashing in' from the BBC. Who says it isn't all about the $$$? Utter hypocrisy. I'm glad there's no BBC in my living room so I don't have to subject my family to such double standard, double dealing, idiotic frippery that was once a broadcaster the envy of the world.

Netflix gets my money every month (£6.99) and my aerial remains unplugged.

I get the feeling you don't like the Beeb. I'm ambivalent. That being said why not edit the shows so they can be broadcast? You do seem to be jumping to some rather bizarre logical conclusions, like the show cant go on because Clarkson owns a proportion of the distribution company. So what? Im pretty sure he would be happy for the Beeb to carry on making a Top Gear show and cashing in on the distribution, and the Beeb would be silly not to try and continue the show given how large it is.

My thoughts exactly!

Edit: and another thing - to say Clarkson earned £14 million is a curious use of the word 'earned'.

Then he can easily afford to be the CTC President.

Bump.

Oh dear. Looks like the big 'C' and his sidekicks have been signed up by the big 'A' . Remind me not to buy anything from that bunch of tax-avoiders any more. That'll be difficult for me, I fear... :(

Yes, I heard it on the news this afternoon.
I won't be listening to Amazon Prime, so it makes no difference to me at all.

I use Amazon a lot though.

I used Amazon for the first time in years last weeek and only because I'd earned £20 worth of vouchers. Most of the stuff on there is overpriced from searches I've done over the years and as with SKY/BT etc I wouldn't touch Amazon prime with a bargepole not that I think the program is going to be any good.
In fact it's going to be even worse than the last 3 -4 years of TG due to no interferring by Amazon as to content according to an ecstatic Andy 'Whine'man
which is funny because he said 6 years ago TG was near its end and the presenters needed to go back to how they were rather than be a cartoon version of themselves
