Shouldn't you be out riding it then? :P

Or at least wax polishing it.

Get thee behind me Stan

If they had a nicer paint colour (anything as long as it's black) Mrs w_c would've had one ages ago - and as she has a bespoke Hewitt Audax she should know how a good bike should feel - though as she chose the Hewitt over Gethin B's Ti on little more than colour perhaps not :o

They cant answer us, as they are still out riding (or polishing).

As for the colour of the bike, I think black is beautiful.

Well day 2 & been busy fettling. For those who are curious, mine is a delightful shade of "red". Now when I say red, that is not exactly true. I would put it more around darkish salmon. Spa says they ordered pillar box red paint & that is what turned up  . However, I like it, it's different & to celebrate I have named the bike "Martha". She rides like a dream & I can't wait to have a Girls long weekend away, just Martha & me (Ortlieb panniers arrived from Wiggle this morning :D ). However, there is a down side. The cables on the bars are obstructing the use of my bar bag. It just won't fit. So, I'm thinking of a top tube bag to put my Womanly needful things in & a Rixen Kaul Klickfix Mini Map Holder so I won't get lost. Unless you know different?

I hope you have many happy hours with Martha and couldn't help wondering if this would be the answer to your problems:

I'm not an STI user, but I think you can just bully the cables so they lie next to the bar bag then go behind/under the bag to the downtube cable adjusters.
