Personally I do not get on with Tapatalk and do not wish to use it

So I try to use the Forum without

Just tested and your right it asks you over and over. There's something wrong it should only ask once per session.

My experience is similar. I did wonder whether more knowledgeable folk than me might know how to suppress the Tapatalk nuisance, but as I only use IOS on my iphone, I confine CTC forum reading/posting to my PC, which uses ubuntu.

I use it with my iPad Mini with no problems whatsoever.

I have to say that I don't want Tapatalk, but Safari manages just fine, and I post happily away.

This is me back on via iPad.

As soon as I went to CTC forum, iPad wanted me to download Tapatalk or skip it.
I clicked Skip, and then logged in as normal.

Once logged in, Tapatalk doesn't come up at all. Maybe it's because I don't have it downloaded in the first place?

Only problem I have, is that I can't type fast enough with only one finger. My hands and fingers are too big to use both hands, so I prefer to use my MacBook with full-sized keyboard. Other than that, I find the iPad easier to use than the MacBook for simple web use including this forum. So long as I don't need to type too much, iPad is easiest.

I've downloaded and installed Tapatalk, and when I log in on here there's a message asking me to turn it on or not.

I chose not to switch it on, so there's nothing happening with it.

I have now given up with this forum and the mobiles

It is unfortunate to have to recognise that the forum is simply not usable from a mobile device.

The forum works fine in a browser (Firefox) on my Android tablet :D (although I'm on my PC at the moment).

My experience over the years is that if you want to mess things up throw in someone with an apple OS into the mix - good for garbling spreadsheets & other documents! :?

For those that are having problems, what version of iOS are you using?

I have no problems using my iPAD 2 on iOS 8.0. However, my iPhone 3G, running iOS 4.2 (IIRC) sprays popups around like a mad thing. And to make matters worse, I can't even install tapatalk on that version of iOS!

I never have a problem. I normally use the forum on my Google Nexus 7 running Android. I access through the browser and Tapatalk. I also access on my Samsung Galaxy phone as well using hovercraft full of eels. and never had a problem.

Is it just an apple issue?

My iPad works perfectly with this forum.
IOS 8.0.2

Although I'm on my MacBook at the moment, I often use the iPad.

Forum works fine on my Android tablet and phone. I don't need Tapatalk, and I can type perfectly fine with a single finger on either device. I am surprised people can't do that on Apple devices?
