Dire Weather But Still Smiling!

Post by John Holiday »

Despite some of the worst weather that we have experienced this week (strong winds, rain & hail)for Cycle Training, the children even as young as Year 4 have still enjoyed the training & kept a smile on their faces.
No one wanted to return to school early,so guess being out on their bikes still has greater appeal than being stuck in school!
Some of the parents seemed more concerned than they were!

Wish I were so lucky... We've had kids arrive without gloves & wearing thin shoes. I hope they bring something warmer for next week.

We tried to keep them moving, but I don't think they did as weel as they could have.

Our children frequently arrive without gloves, & sometimes ask whether they need their coats?!!
Next year they will be in High School!

We always feel gloves are as important as helmets & to emphasise the point ask what they would do if they fell off?
Obviously, put their hand out, which is better protected with gloves.
Usually try to keep a few spares for those without.
