Shorts for thin legs!

Post by iainb »

Hi folks

Due an ill health enforced period of inactivity I have A) put on a bit around the waist and B) lost a bit on the thighs, I need a new pair of shorts and have tried a couple of pairs from Chain reaction which were OK in the waist but too big in the leg. Can anyone recommend some waist shorts which are cut on the tight side in the leg, I'm prepared to pay up to about 40 quid.

Thanks and regards

Castelli are the slimmest I have found. Don't know whether you'll get them for £40 though.

Giordana are also quite slim.

Castelli sizing is on the small side. My large Castellis are tighter than medium Giordanas, but with similar leg length.

Hi,
When lidl sell cycling stuff, the knee length shorts are quit a tight fit, even the female sizes would probably give you a slim leg.

I was going to suggest rapha but they are close to £80. All the racing snakes at work have them.

Buy the shorts to fit your waist and get someone with a sewing machine to take them in, most dry cleaners have some one to do alterations.
